Jay Z has opened up his heart and his wallet to benefit victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York, DC, and PA. Jigga has annoounced that one dollar from every ticket sold to his Blueprint Lounge Tour will be donated to the American Red Cross, the Hip-Hop Has a Heart Foundation, and the Fire Department of New York. He has also pledged $45,000 to the disaster relief effort.

The Blueprint Lounge Tour is currently working its way across the U.S., after Jay Z delayed its start by more than a week after the attacks on his hometown, and elsewhere in the States. The tour is in support of his new album The Blueprint which sold 425,000 copies in its first week, and is currently number one on Billboard.
