For the new year, Chicago rhymer Chance The Rapper gave fans a rare glimpse at his personal life.

In a series of photos and videos uploaded to Instagram, Chance shared images of his young daughter, Kensli Bennett. In his first post, the rapper credited Kensli, who was born in September of last year, for reintroducing him to God and teaching him how to love.

“She is everything I am but much better. I can’t wait for her to one day help the world the way she has helped me,” Chance The Rapper wrote.

Another photo shows Kensli and her father both cheesing in a picture with Michelle and Barack Obama.

And in a video also uploaded yesterday (January 1), Kensli shares a quick tune on her harmonica.

Chance became emotional while posting his last video of Kensli, as he commented on the joys of being a first-time father.

“Ima cry. Dads know you can’t/won’t get this love anywhere else,” the rapper wrote. “We are the chosen few, the responsibility is heavy but duty is an honor. Mothers better know it ain’t one thing in this world we can without you. Thank you to her mother, my mother and God for making all things possible. I can’t wait to get back to this.”
