Apparently, Chief Keef did not discuss the possibility of Big Gucci Sosa 2, the direction for his Two Zero One Sevenproject, or anything else with Local Savage as the Chicago Rapper says on Instagram that it was all a hoax. He says he didn’t participate in any interview at all and that people trying to impersonate him should try harder.
Local Savage retweeted Pigeons and Planes as they were the first publication to report on Sosa’s message calling out the fake interview, but have not commented on the situation beyond that.

Another copycat Sosa incident happened earlier this year when he claimed someone was posing as him asking for nudes.

After a pretty quiet year, Chief Keef is preparing to start 2017 with a bang, dropping his Two Zero One Sevenmixtape on New Year’s Day. But there is another project that fans have been anticipating: Big Gucci Sosa 2.

In a recent interview with Local Savage, Sosa addresses the possibility of reuniting with Gucci Mane for the follow-up to the popular 2014 mixtape now that Guwop is free from prison.
“We’ve talked a few times since he got out but we both busy as hell,” Chief Keef says. “Niggas always hitting me up on Twitter about Big Gucci Sosa 2 so we gonna have to get together and do that. I made a whole ‘nother tape with my beats and him while he was gone but we ended up trashing that shit. I like his new songs, they hard as hell.”
So it seems like that tape is indeed a possibility on the table, but we might be waiting for a while.

In regards to Two Zero One Seven, Sosa explains why he handled most of the production on the upcoming project even though he’s been in the studio with hitmakers Swizz Beatz and Mike WiLL Made-It.
“I been practicing making beats for two years now and if I’m gonna spend all that time I want niggas to hear it,” he says.
This mixtape comes after he cleared up his deal with FilmOn and Alki David. He says that his label situation helps explain his low musical output in 2016.

“I’ve had to work shit out with [Alki David] because I was in trouble with him about posting my shit on YouTube,” he explains. “He’s letting me do it now because I told him I can’t get no money if I’m not putting out something. I got some other tapes on a laptop I might get rid of too.”
