This week, Chris Brown’s Gucci Mane and Usher-assisted single “Party” came with a super dope visual that featured Chris’ Michael Jackson-inspired dance moves. Meanwhile, Big Sean linked with Chicago’s Chance the Rapper and Jeremih for “Living Single” and Justin Hunte wonders if regions still matter in Hip Hop on last week’s Breakdown.

Chris Brown Dances Like MJ

Chris Brown dropped a fire song recently called “Party” featuring Gucci Mane and Usher and for the visual he channels the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, for his dance moves.

Look out for Chris’ forthcoming album, Heartbreak On A Full Moon, which is being written and produced by A1 and Lyrica Anderson.

Big Sean Re-Does Chance The Rapper’s “Living Single”

“Living Single” was originally supposed to be a Coloring Book song, but it was leaked onto the internet somehow. Instead of letting a great song go to waste, Big Sean released the track with Jeremih in tow as a thank you to his fans for getting “Bounce Back” on the Billboard charts.

Do Regions Still Matter In Hip Hop?

In last week’s segment of DX’s Breakdown, Justin Hunte wants to know whether or not regions matter in Hip Hop anymore. You have rappers from New York sounding like they are from the South and (some) rappers from the Southeast of the country sounding like they’re from the East.

In this particular episode Hunte focuses on the Carolinas, home to J. Cole, 9th Wonder and other significant musicians.
