Atlanta, GA

A joyride that Philly lyricist Lil Uzi Vert took through the streets of Atlanta last week ended with the rapper quite literally in the dirt.

According to TMZ, Lil Uzi Vert and another friend were riding their dirt bikes through the city on Thursday night (December 8) without lights or helmets.

Additionally, the dirtbiking duo reportedly raced the wrong way down a one-way street, drove on a sidewalk, and then proceeded to cross five lanes of traffic without signaling.

After being pursued by authorities, Vert fell off his bike and attempted to flee on foot.

The musician didn’t make it too far before he was arrested by officers. As a result of his arrest, Lil Uzi Vert was hit with obstruction, reckless driving, not having a driver’s license, and other violations.

The Philly rhymer is currently out on $6,500 bond.
