DJ Khaled has long mastered the art of going big in all things he embarks upon, including gifting his friends on special occasions. The Miami producer and record executive blessed frequent recording partner Future with a Rolex Sky-Dweller watch for his 33rd birthday.
Khaled was in Los Angeles over the weekend celebrating the release of his new book, The Keys, which doubled as a star-studded celebration for his gold-selling album “Major Key” as well. Khaled was presented with a gold plaque but the surprises didn’t end there.
As evidenced on Khaled’s Instagram page, Khaled and Future were all smiles during the birthday exchange of the diamond-encrusted timepiece valued on some retail sites as high as $40,000.

The moment was caught on Khaled’s Instagram via video, and there are several photos of the pair with one shot featuring Future wearing the watch. Joining Khaled at the affair were the likes of Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Nas, Epic Records boss L.A. Reid, will.i.am and Mariah Carey among others.
DJ Khaled’s “Major Key” album is out now. Future fans can expect his “Beast Mode 16” project with producer Zaytoven soon.
