New Orleans artist Pell has teamed up with Chicago duo Louis The Child for a new song, “Turn Me Down,” which is the first offering from an upcoming EP as they form the group Pellican Child. The three debuted the track at a show in Louis The Child’s hometown and are prepping to share more tunes together in Pell’s current city of residence, Los Angeles, tomorrow (December 9) at The Fonda.

“I think it’s important to get together with people doing something on a different spectrum from what I make on the regular,” Pell says to HipHopDX. “It’s rewarding to keep expanding my sound and going outside of myself.”

Pell’s last LP was LIMBOwhich dropped a year ago. He has since gone on his first headlining tour and done several collaboration tracks, including an appearance on Big Gigantic’s Brighter Future album.
