DMX, who has faced his own series of troubles in times past, recently took to Instagram to offer emotional and spiritual support to Kanye West. The X Man says that his video was the first time he’s used the social media service in such a fashion.
On Wednesday, DMX posted the brief and especially sincere message in his signature gruff-voiced style.
“This is my first Instagram joint that I specifically did ever for Instagram, ” said the veteran Yonkers MC. “I want it to mean something, I want it to make sense.”

He added, “I want to give a special shout out to Kanye. Let him know that my prayers are with him, my family’s prayers are with him. A reminder that when God is for you, who can be against you? No one, and nothing. Stand strong, Brother. Stand strong. God is in your corner.”
This week, Kanye was hospitalized after suffering from apparent exhaustion in the wake of several headline-making concerts where he went on lengthy rants that touched on a wide spectrum of issues he had with the world. He’s reportedly doing better now, but still remained in hospital on Thursday, according to People.
DMX knows a little bit about the ups and downs life can hand you but it appears he’s on a positive path these days.
