Drake cleaned up at this year’s American Music Awards, taking home the trophy for Favorite Album Rap/Hip Hop, Favorite Song Rap/Hip Hop and Favorite Artist, to which he accepted with a few subliminal shots likely aimed at Kanye West, Meek Mill, and anyone else speaking on his name.

The 6 God dominated the AMA’s with 13 nominations this year, dethroning Michael Jackson’s record for the most nominations, and upon accepting the award for Favorite Artist he took the moment to thank his Summer Sixteen tourmate Future, Fetty Wap and U.K. singer Kyla for “One Dance.”

“For our genre, I like to keep things exciting and keep making music,” Drizzy says. “Shout out to everybody that’s trying to do the same thing. More Life is coming soon and more chune for your head top so watch how you speak on my name, you know?” The “watch how you speak on my name” part of his speech set off speculation about who he might be subliminally referencing.

Meanwhile, DJ Khaled congratulated the Toronto superstar on Instagram (in a now-deleted post) to which Drake replied, “Some bwoy need fi make some song and stop cry,” with a star and trophy emoji. His reply may be a subtle reply to Kanye West’s recent outburst about Khaled and Drake dominating the radio in his 16-minute rant at his Saint Pablo Tour stop in Sacramento.

“Khaled and Drake and radio and Doc and [Real] 92.3 and everybody,” West said. “Is it just me or did you hear that song so many times ‘you say you wanna play for free.’ Aye, aye. You know what it is, though? Because aye, I love Drake. I love Khaled. But they set that song up, bro.”
