Drawing influence from the duo’s deep connection to the West Coast, Snoop Dogg and legendary skateboarder Mark “Gonz” Gonzales have teamed up with sportswear powerhouse Adidas to bring consumers the adidas Skateboarding “LA Stories” line, which features a limited edition sneaker, hoodie, long-sleeve shirt, and t-shirt “accented with nostalgic Southern California iconography embodying the shared West Coast experiences of both Snoop Dogg and Gonz,” as stated in a press release.
Beginning with a customized Matchcourt Mid, the shoe features the iconic three stripes in a blue hue, custom sockliner, gold eyelets, and is detailed with signature artwork by Gonz on the outsole.

The digitized plaid tongue and heel overlay were designed straight from Gonz’s iPad and pay homage to the plaid flannels that were big in the ’90s.
Gonz’ custom artwork also appears on the all white hoodie, white long sleeve shirt and white t-shirt featuring low riders and graffiti lettering.

The limited edition Snoop x Gonz footwear and apparel collection will be available on the adidas website and at specialty skate retailers on December 5. The price tags range from $30 to $85.
