Hip Hop Album Sales: D.R.A.M. & Joe Budden Albums Debut On Billboard Top 200

On the most recent Billboard Top 200 albums chart, nobody could give Lady Gaga a run as her new album, Joanne, takes the top spot with 200,000 equivalent album units. Drake dips even lower in his sales for VIEWS but D.R.A.M. and Joe Budden land on the list in the first week of Big Baby D.R.A.M. and Rage & the Machine.

    Drake’s Lowest VIEWS Yet

Drake’s VIEWS lands at #5 this week, his lowest mark since debuting the project in April. The LP pushed 38,000 equivalent album units and was streamed more than 43 million times. Two of his new songs debuted in the Top 5 of the genre’s digital singles chart.

    1. Enjoy it while it lasts, Budden. You’ll be off the charts next week. Same with you, Meek. Everyone will forget about DC4 in two weeks, tops. No one is fucking with VIEWS. #DrakeIsLoveDrakeIsLife

    2. its crazy how the popular artists have millions of streams, but nobody wants to buy their actual CD…so to me it says, hey u just dropped an album, i’ll listen to it a few times and after that im onto the next with no intention of listening again..kinda shitty
