Congratulations are in order for newlyweds Ciara and Russell Wilson, who just announced they have a baby on the way.

It will be the 27-year-old Seahawks quarterback and 31-year-old Atlanta pop songstress’ first child together.

Ciara currently shares a two-year-old son with her ex-fiance Future and has been pursuing a custody battle and libel lawsuit (that was recently dropped) against him throughout 2016.

News of a baby being on the way comes less than a week after the suit was dropped, and also the day of Ciara’s 31st birthday.

“On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family,” CiCi captioned on Instagram. “and I’m excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give…”

Russell Wilson also posted the exciting news of his wife’s pregnancy on his Instagram. Although this will be Russ’ first child, the new dad already plays step-father to baby Future and has had some experience being in that role — a role the Freebandz general has been vocally against since the now-married couple began dating.

Russell and CiCi had a romantic wedding ceremony in Cheshire, England, tying the knot this past July.
