Kevin Hart’s battle rap persona Chocolate Droppa is back with more bars “bars,” this time for Vine comedian Klarity.
Both Hart and Droppa have been busy lately, with Hart releasing his fourth movie of the year, What Now, in theaters on Friday (October 14), and Droppa signing with Motown Records, battling Lil Wayne for the BET Hip Hop Awards and releasing a full mixtape.
His opponent in the staged sketch battle (/commercial for What Now) above is perhaps less known, except to Vine users. The actor has 4.3 million followers on the video clip platform and more than 1.5 billion loops for his comedy.

There’s not much in the way of quotables in this battle (unless you ask Droppa’s entourage), but his intensity, timing and performance are on point. When he hits with his closing line, his entourage picks him up and kind of flies him around like an airplane.
Klarity tries to respond, but inadvertently turns the match-up into a compliments battle, and quickly gets overly complimentary enough for his crew to switch sides.
What Now is currently sitting at 78% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, garnering mostly positive reviews despite being generally considered not as strong as some of Hart’s previous comedy specials.
