Colorado Rapper Boss Goodie Killed

Denver, CO – Aurora’s Boss Goodie (A.K.A. BossMan Goodie) was shot and killed Monday (October 10), according to the Denver Post.

The 29-year-old born Tyrone Adair Jr. was identified by police yesterday (October 11), a day after he was shot and killed outside of local lounge Cold Crush early in the morning. Another man whose identity has not been released was “critically injured.”

Goodie opened for T-Pain at City Hall’s Halloween event last year.

Friends of the MC put together a GoFundMe to help pay for his funeral costs. The page says he leaves behind a daughter.

HipHopDX sends its condolences to the family and friends of Boss Goodie.

Start with the music! Just go to Worldstar or VladTV or any rap site for that matter. They're not rapping about a struggle, they're glorifying street life 24/7 for the past 20 years. Only genre of music that does. Black culture in general represents violence, period.

Not too many rap songs about - going to work and paying bills on time. Then when that's all set donating to charity or helping out your friend and or neighbor. Glorifying the street life instead of positive music and then the sheepole listening cannot vision a life without violence and slapppin hoe's.

Smh? Are agreeing or disagreeing? Rap doesn't have to be about "paying bills on time" etc. Pretty sure that you know what I meant. Any time that a point similar to mine is brought up in conversation I am immediately hit with every excuse but what's in front of them and that's "ACCOUNTABILITY". Am I wrong about my overall view of rap music and the genre in general? Pop stars, Rock stars, Country stars, R&B/Soul stars, Jazz musicians (you name it) aren't involved in this type of BS everyday. You don't see any of these type of artists out shooting and killing each other over street sh*t. So who or what's to blame?

Dawg did you really just say black culture is violence? Really? I don't know what you listen to, but the hip hop I listen to is very diverse. I listen to all music and I can tell you with 100% certainty I can find violence and debauchery in every single genre. Johnny cash sang about killing people, local TV is more violent on any given day than anything coming out of my headphones. Violence permeates through American society as a whole, but sure let's just blame black people and hip hop. At the end of the day music is entertainment, just like movies and television.
