Back in May, Shad Moss admitted that he never wanted to be a rapper, and would have rather been an actor or comedian instead, saying that he’s lost passion for the rap game.

Well, now it looks like Shad Moss, who is now signed to Bad Boy Records, is gearing up to make his return with a new project that is slated to be executive produced by the man who christened him with his now defunct “Lil Bow Wow” moniker, Snoop Dogg.

“My last album will be Executive Produced by my uncle Snoop and myself,” Moss captioned on Instagram. “Since he brought me in the game, its only right i involve him and end it with him. ITS OFFICIAL!!!! THIS SH*T BOUT TO BANG ON MOMMAS! And we aiming and im talking RECKLESS on this album. NOBODY SAFE.”

The last music we heard from the 29-year-old rapper was in 2009 with the delivery of his sixth studio album, New Jack City II, which was released under his own LBW Entertainment label.

In between that time, music from Shad Moss has been scarce as he was dedicating his time to hosting  BET’s 106 & Parkfor two years before its cancellation and playing the role of Brody Nelson on the now-canceled CBS drama series CSI: CyberMix that in with having a child and drama surrounding his relationship with Erica Mena and the mother of his child, Joie Chavis, and it’s no wonder music hasn’t been so much of a focus.

Now it’s back to the studio where it all began with the creation of his final album, NYLTH, assisted by Uncle Snoop. Perhaps this will be the classic album he says he’s lacking.
