Drake continues his reign atop Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart with VIEWS. Gucci Mane follows with Everybody Looking at #2, Guwop’s highest-charting album yet. Lil Durk and DJ Drama debut on the chart with Lil Durk 2X and Quality Street Music 2. The former lands at #29 with 13,658 album equivalent units while DJ Drama charts at #40 with 11,397 units.
Drake Passes Taylor Swift’s Mark With “VIEWS”
Drake’s VIEWS spends its 12th week at the top of the chart with 84,795 units. This surpasses Taylor Swift’s 1989, which saw 11 weeks at the spot. The Frozen soundtrack reigned for 13 weeks and Billy Ray Cyrus had 17 weeks on top in 1992. The last album by an artist to beat Drizzy’s mark is Adele’s 21 with 24 weeks at the top.
Gucci Mane Knows “Everybody Looking” At Charts
Gucci Mane nabs his highest-charting album yet with Everybody Looking landing at #2. The LP pushed 67,984 album equivalent units. Guwop fans streamed the project 31.4 million times. The Trap King’s last highest album was 2010’s The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted, which landed at #4 and sold 60,000 units its first week. In 2009, The State vs. Radric Davis debuted at #10 on the list.
