Soulja Boy’s 26th birthday party was cut short after a shooting yesterday, TMZ reports.

The “Crank Dat” rapper was celebrating with his friends, including Sean Kingston, at a studio. One of the guests stepped outside when someone drove up in a mask and attempted to rob him. When Soulja’s friend resisted, the male suspect reportedly shot him in the arm and then drove away.

Police arrived on the scene and Soulja Boy had already left the venue. Kingston supposedly called it a night before the shooting occurred. The injured man was reportedly transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Law enforcement has not identified a suspect yet.
