Burberry Perry has made his rise to fame alongside Lil Yachty, but now is in hot water after British company Burberry has reportedly sued him, according to TMZ.

The original Burberry, which was founded in 1856, says it issued a cease and desist letter to the rapper-producer after it discovered his use of the name. The cover art for his debut EP, Burberry Perry, features a plaid design very similar to Burberry’s signature print. The title is also written in a font and features a black knight reflective of Burberry’s trademarked logo. Kylie Jenner is featured on the project, by the way.

The company wanted Burberry Perry to stop using the name and images because it feared customers would be confused by the affiliation. It says he did not respond and is therefore taking the upcoming artist to court.
