Childish Gambino’s “Atlanta” finally has an air date. The show is set to hit television sets nationwide September 6, according to Deadline.

The rapper, who goes by his birth name Donald Glover in the acting world, wrote the script and executive produced the show, which is scheduled for 10 episodes. He is also to star as Earn Marks, a manager in ATL’s music scene who is supporting the rap career of his cousin, Alfred, played by Brian Tyree Henry.

Musically, Gambino’s last output was his STN MTN/Kauai mixtape, which dropped in 2014 (although he has been cryptically teasing new content through an app). He also finished up his work on the NBC show “Community” that year. Since then, he has landed roles in Magic Mike XXL, The Lazarus Effect and The Martian. He’s also reportedly been cast in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot.
