Chance The Rapper is slept on as a musician, according to Young Thug.
While appearing on the red carpet for the BET Awards, which aired on Sunday (June 26), Atlanta rapper Young Thug was asked if he thinks Chance The Rapper is slept on as an artist.
In response to the question, Thugger shared his belief that Chance is in fact slept on. He then went on to compare the Chicago wordsmith to Prince, stating that Chance will likely “die a slept on legend.”

“They been sleeping. I think they gonna always sleep on him. He’s gonna die like Prince. He’s gonna die a slept on legend,” Young Thug said, during an exclusive interview with Hip Hollywood.
Young Thug is one of several artists featured on Chance’s newly-released, Coloring Book mixtape.
Along with Lil Yachty, Thug lends his assistance on the Coloring Book track, “Mixtape.” Other artists featured on the project include Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, and Jay Electronica.
