Snoop Dogg is putting more time and energy into other artists lately, from restarting his DoggyStyle record label to putting on for his hometown with the LBC Movement mixtape.

Besides working on his Cool Aid album, Snoop says that he has also collaborated for a song with Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell. The track is set to go on the former Michigan State star’s project.

“It’s dope as fuck,” the Long Beach, California legend says to TMZ.

He says that Bell sent him the track with his verse already recorded so that Snoop just had to add his part. When asked about the football player’s skills on the mic, the Doggfather has nothing but praise.

“I wouldn’t a did it if he wasn’t no good,” he says.

Snoop continues by saying he’d “definitely” work with NBA All-Star Damian Lillard, who also raps on the side. He says that both athletes have potential to make careers out of rapping, but understands the side hustle.

“Just like I’m a rapper, but I play sports for fun,” he says.

Snoop agreed to do the track last month and said the promise of a verse from him should serve as motivation for the running back to heal from a knee injury.

In March, Bell released the 10-song mixtape, The Interview, under the rap name Juice.
