Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are not happy with their former bodyguard slamming them in recent interviews and they are reportedly taking action.

Steve Stanulis claims he was fired by the celebrity couple for flirting with Yeezy‘s wife. The ex-bodyguard denied doing anything out of line with Mrs. Kardashian-West, but he blasted the “Famous” rapper for his alleged behavior, which included refusing to press an elevator button himself and then getting upset when Stanulis didn’t already know what floor he was going to.

Upon hearing about Stanulis’ interviews, husband and wife are threatening to sue him for $30 million through their lawyer, according to TMZ. They say he signed a confidentiality agreement when he took the job, which apparently outlined that he would owe $10 million if he spilled any beans about the family. The letter from the lawyer says he took part in at least three interviews, so at $10 million apiece, they would get $30 million from him.

The letter suggests that Stanulis could potentially avoid the lawsuit by offering a public apology, retracting his claims and doing no further interviews, TMZ reports.

A representative for the couple spoke to Complex about Stanulis’ claims to the media.

“The West Family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in a desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense,” the source said. “This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tenet of decency with his story of lies. As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense.”

The former bodyguard had previously claimed that his signature was forged on the non-disclosure agreement and that he agreed to no such terms.

“The claim that his signature on the Confidentiality Agreement is forged is ridiculous and just another desperate attempt by him to escape responsibility for his own wrongful actions,” Complex’s source commented.

The publication continues by saying that Stanulis was hired by a third party to work for the family and was not retained or fired by West.
