Migos has long-touted its ownership of the dab sensation. Their pride of the move shone through on “Look At My Dab,” also known as “Bitch Dab,” from its Back to the Bando mixtape released in September.

Peewee Longway supposedly took to Twitter to claim that he started the dab trend and the saying “piped it up,” which Migos uses as an ad-lib. The Atlanta rapper has since deleted his post, but it was captured by saycheesetv.

“Who the first one to say piped it up (ME)” he writes, “who the first to say dab (ME) Who is the real lobby runner (ME) retweet these #facts.”

Migos did not appreciate Peewee’s claims on their territory.

#FACTS SINCE WE TALKIN FACTS .. Migos Gave U Life!!” the group seemingly responds on its official Twitter account. “GLOVES?! Let’s Hit For Tha Dab!! Whoever Win Can Have The Dab!!”

Offset also supposedly posted an image on Instagram of himself holding up both his middle fingers. That post has vanished as well.

“CLAIMING WORDS AINT HELPING CAREERS OR CLAIMING DA DAB SHIIT LAME MAKE A HIT NIGGA,” the Migos rapper put for the caption.
