Curtis Snow, best known for his realer-than-life 2011 “documentary?” Snow on tha Bluff, was involved in a police standoff yesterday (May 7) that feels like it was inspired from the movie’s script.
WSB-TV reports that Snow was attending his 94-year-old grandfather’s funeral when he barricaded himself inside the women’s restroom following an argument with another attendee of the homegoing service.
The incident at the Higher Ground Empowerment Center located at 561 Spencer St. from about 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Officials were called to the scene where the altercation ended with Snow’s peaceful surrender to authorities.

In Snow on Tha Bluff, the titular character is depicted to be a drug dealer and professional robber, who juggles life throughout ATL’s The Bluff neighborhood. The film was not only subjected to several film festival awards, it also inspired nearby rap stars such as T.I., Gucci Mane, Killer and B.o.B to reference it in their material.
