Nicki Minaj was her usual cocksure self when she graced the red carpet for last night’s TIME 100 Gala at midtown Manhattan’s Jazz at Lincoln Center ahead of the performance for her Beyonce-featured “Feeling Myself.”

When the photos from the walk of fame made their way into her phone for her to share with fans on Instagram, she couldn’t help but play up the title with the caption: “When you’re the only female rapper to grace the cover of TIME MAGAZINE outside of Queen Lauryn [Hill].”

The night capped off a rare and prestigious honor for the 33-year-old Minaj, whose career is on pace to be the most decorated of all female rappers. According to her own calculations, her last release, 2014’s The Pinkprint, sold upwards of three million copies and there is no denying her star power.

“Two of the things that I wanted to leave behind is I write my own raps,” Minaj told TIME during her digital feature for Most Influential People cover placement. “A man doesn’t have write down your thoughts. You’re intelligent to write down your own thoughts. And number two, I would become a mogul.”

Her Young Money Records boss, Lil Wayne would tend to agree. He proclaimed she will “go down as one of the best to do it in the history of music” at the close of her career.
