Tyga and his crew had a run-in with the law when their car was investigated by police.

The California rapper chronicled the incident on his Snapchat and called the LAPD officers “The real crooks” with a photo of them standing in the parking lot.

An Instagram account captured Tyga‘s video post where the police are searching a black SUV.

“”TMZ got the [police emoji]? believing everything they read to looking for [gun emoji] S M H ” -@kinggoldchains #LamboLuxury” the caption for the post says, crediting Tyga with the quote about the celebrity news website.

TMZ reported on the story after he made the posts, saying that the police were investigating members of Tyga’s crew who were affiliated with a gang. Law enforcement says that they made it clear to Tyga he was not under investigation and offered for him to leave.

An unloaded gun belonging to to one of the rapper’s security guards was found in the car. The security guard said he had the proper permits, but the weapon was registered in another state.
