The signing of DRAKE's name on RIHANNA's cover is "interesting" because they've been linked together romantically for at least six years now. It's also of note, that THAT particular cover pic actually is a dual cover for FADER's 100 release. It had BOTH Rihanna AND Drake (on separate covers) for the SAME (FADER 100) issue. So I'm guessing that FADER just chose to post Rihanna's on the wall instead, or Drake just didn't see his immediately as he passed through. OR maybe he did know his own cover was there, yet decided to write his name on hers instead. Which is kinda important when you factor in their years-long "romantic" history together and the worldwide cultural significance of a man "giving" a woman his name. Which is kinda what Drake did when he wrote his name on her image. The heart Drake drew over Rihanna's butt could've been just him being playful since he's been grinding on it ever since they've started performing their #1 Billboard Hot 100 single (for 4 weeks now), "Work". OR...it could've been that he's actually feeling some type of way about Rihanna and wanted to express that for all to see. Which, again, is interesting because it adds to the "are they, or aren't they?" speculation about their current romantic status. ALL of this, however, keeps up not only the public interest in these two artists, but also their new single that's really hot right now. So, expression of love/lust? Publicity? Convenient and expedient signature opportunity? Who knows? But we do know it got all the blogs and the Twitterverse, and the Gram, talking about it...and them!
