Chi Duly and MICK released the Ready To Boom mixtape today (March 9) to commemorate the 19th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s death.

Ready To Boom, a play off the New York rapper’s Ready To Die album, is a mash-up of Metro Boomin‘s production and classic Biggie Smalls’ cuts. Among the songs on the 30-minute project are “Juicy” is played over the beat for Kanye West’s “Waves” and “Come On” is paired with Future and Drake’s “Where Ya At.”

“We thought it would be cool to remix Biggie with a very contemporary vibe and kind of trap him out a little bit,” MICK says of the project to Highsnobiety. “We wanted to introduce him to a new audience so they can appreciate his genius, too.”
