Kanye West Blames Chance The Rapper For Delay Of "The Life Of Pablo" Release

Kanye West said today (February 12) that he expected to release The Life of Pablo to the masses before the day ended.

At around 10:30 p.m. PST, West took to Twitter to blame Chance The Rapper that the album was not yet commercially released.

“It’s Chance’s fault the album not out yet… he really wanted Waves on that Bitch… we in the lab now…” he writes.

“Waves” was on the tracklist that West posted when the album was titled SWISH.

Chance The Rapper responded and admitted to putting a hold on The Life of Pablo’s release.

“I fought everyone to keep Waves on the album,” he writes. “I spent all night finishing it. The world is better because of it.”

The independent rapper appears on “Ultra Light Beams,” which is the opening track of the version of The Life of Pablo that West played at the Yeezy Season 3 event at Madison Square Garden.

Yo i just had the illest thought! What if kanye is actively trying to persuade people not to follow his lifestyle and attitude and wants prople to hate him and be more into smart young rappers like kendrick cole and logic! Hes playing the villan thats y he always dusnt smile for camera to give the impression hes not happy with everything in his life, when in reality he loves his but doesnt want people to chase money. All the while he sell $2000 shirts to the same sheeple hes encouraging people not to be. If thats all true he truly is a genius

Tha Truth, I agree with part of what you and Chrisp said, but I think that your view point is something you're thinking to justify why he's completely changed his rhetoric, message, and his mentality. I think what you guys are saying is sooo far fetched. If what you guys believe is true, then Kanye is unbelievably smart but he's basically living a lie. I think there is no way in hell that Kim is an 'instahoe' and Ye is an arrogant, ignorant f*ck just so people realize that the 'rich arrogant assholes and superficial plastic bitches' are something they don't want to be or associate with. Are you serious? Look at how many women try to copy the Kardashian ways. It wasn't so people would wake up. It's so they could maximize profits. Wake up!

You have good taste in music! I have to listened first five albums especially the first two alot. Im saying think from a bigger picture. Kim k is a highly sophisticated business woman who followed paris hiltons way to fame, and sustained with her "reality show" where every one plays a paroday of themselves and spoilt dumb people and selling shit on instagram next to her tits. She started instahoing and her and her family have more followers than anything else!! Why sheeple mam! Wake up kanye playing he trying to encourage people not be rich arrogant assholes and superficial plastic bitches! Hes holding a mirror up to society and saying is this who you want to be? And the sheeple say yes and smart people look away and become the opposite and kanye transcends his musically gifts to bring anti consumerism and a love of self. You should check his earlier albums. It's very pro black, anti corporate (workplace situations especially), positivity, religious (Jesus Walks), he's big on his family, and the list goes on. Then he got rich and money changed his perceptions and actions. It's interesting to see younger Kanye fans and how they're not as familiar with his earlier work and I can totally see how he comes off as this big villain. HIGHLY recommend checking his first four or five albums. I think you'll enjoy the messages and the production is incredible as well. He wasn't always the villain until the money, fame, his wife and possibly drugs came into play.

It means it's still in the making and Kanye didn't want to release anything on his show. It was just all about the hype. And some smarter guys called Public Enemy told me once: "Don't belive the hype". He cried wolf once and this is how I slowly loose my interest in this album.
