Since dropping “Formation” out of the blue Saturday and later giving a Black Panther-inspired Super Bowl Halftime show performance, everyone from former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani to conservative news pundits have bashed Beyonce for being “anti-police.” Queen Bey even received criticism as being racially exclusive by several white feminists. Leave it to Azealia Banks to swing into action via Twitter today (February 10).

“Them bitches are NOT your friends,” screamed the Broke With Expensive Taste rapper in a series of posts. Known for her controversial tweets over the years, the New York artist hasn’t released new music since her 2014 debut due to label issues. According to her Twitter, her next single should be called “The Big Big Beat.”

Recently Rudy Giuliani labeled the song and video an attack to police officers.

“I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers,” Giuliani says, “who are the people who protect her and protect us to keep us alive. What she should be doing in the African-American community and in all communities is build up respect for police officers and focus on the fact that when something goes wrong then, okay, we’ll work on that. The vast majority of police officers risk their lives to keep us safe.”

This also comes as reports of pro and anti-Beyonce rallies are planned this week in front of the National Football League headquarters in New York City.
