According to the NY Post, 50 Cent’s manager Chris Lighty is one of Bernard Madoff’s victims. Madoff is the Wall Street financier who literally made off with billions in client investments.

50 is a very divisive and polarizing figure. People attack or defend him regardless of the facts. What I am fascinated by is people stating that he has put his money into his business in order to hide and protect his wealth. With all due respect, that is a comical answer. My question is what business did he put over 100 million dollars in? If he was valued at 155 million dollars and now his worth is 16 million dollars where is the other 139 million dollars? Your answer is “In his business.” Please tell me that is not a serious answer. So he has hid over 100 million dollars in a struggling domestic company which value itself does not exceed 100 million dollars and this infusion of hidden cash, was missed by the IRS. So he is not paying taxes on this hidden cash (which now means he is committing a felony) and he is pulling the wool over the eyes of these various stupid governmental agencies including the IRS and bankruptcy court. This is the story you are going with. His 99 percent of companies are debunk so his money can only be hidden in one company, and he doesn’t have any international businesses to hide his money in international assets. People are assigning readers to read a book on this practice – please give me that citation too. He is not Donald Trump. By the way Donald Trump had and has international assets. I find it remarkable that folks would even advance such as theory. I don't want to see any man lose his wealth but this guy is financially immobile right now. He doesn't have enough consistent generated revenue to meet his financial obligations and his assets lack liquidity and therefore it has the effect of not having value. This guy is in financial distress. There is no other way to spin it. Crazy theories that defies business logic and practices and the U. S. government's auditing and vetting procedures and protocols does not change that.

Bankruptcy is filed to reorganize and set up a payment structure, you still owe the money but your given pretty much a payment plan, its mandated and regulated by the federal government and theirs no way to hide monies, or withhold financial information, 50 will still have to pay the people he owes but not the entire amount at one time he could do it over a span of years ( if you owed someone a $100 dollars would you rather give them your last $100 bucks or give them a $1 a day for a hundred days )but no he's not broke, but he's definitely not worth the amount he projected to be thru music and media
