Kid Cudi brought fans to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens yesterday (January 2).

The Cleveland, Ohio artist sent the invitation via Twitter to see the movie in Glendale, California.

“Do you love Star Wars?” Kid Cudi writes in a post. “Do you love me? Would you wanna see Star Wars Force Awakens tonight with me, my treat? If you’re cool, with a good heart and good vibes and said yes to all of these things, then meet me at the address with one of my albums, (SBTH so I know its real) or some type of OFFICIAL Kid Cudi merch (T shirt, hat etc) and the first people to get here by 10 50 pm with at least one of those things gets 1 single adult ticket to the 11pm Star Wars Force Awakens in 3D on the house with me and some friends. I pretty much bought the entire theater so lets pack it up!!”

Cudi says it was his third time seeing the film and wanted to share a New Year’s gift with fans.

Various people in attendance shared their experience via social media including pictures with the singer and autographs. According to one fan that Kid Cudi retweeted, Jaden Smith was also in attendance.

Cudi says that he will be hosting more showings in the future.
