Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their first son, Saint, earlier this month. Kardashian had another difficult pregnancy and the couple have decided to stop having children, TMZ reports.

Kardashian has had placenta accreta with both pregnancies. Kardahsian and West’s first child, North, was born in 2013.

Placenta accreta is a condition where the uterus attaches too deeply into the uterine wall. Doctors say that she would almost certainly get the condition with a future pregnancy.

A family source told the website that the pain Kardashian experienced with the condition helped her and West make the decision to stop having children.
