Soren Baker, this is garbage journalism. You must have taken all of two minutes to develop a headline and your narrative after hearing J. Cole's Black Friday. This article is worthless. You insult your audience and the reader with your mundane offering. One would interpret from the headline an interview was conducted with the artist as to expound upon what was heard and stated in the song. You intentionally mislead your readers with a hyped up headline to get them to read this flop. What you wrote was nothing more than what was stated by the artist in the song. How have educated, enlightened or informed the reader? Where is your journalistic integrity? This is a most disturbing trend noticed amongst your colleagues and the staff at HipHop DX. Indoctrinate yourselves by revisiting and reviewing Journalism 101 and get these off the street, middle school writers off your staff. Way too many misinforming, non proofread submissions from your team within in the last year and half. Your writing staff appears desperate. I was really looking forward to that album coming. But it's not a bad thing, it just means they both grinding and building they own brand. Hope to hear more of them working together though. #coleworld
