MF DOOM gives fans an update on his new music in a rare three-minute on-camera interview released by HypeTrak today (November 27).

The clip features the Madvillain showing off his pad located on a remote island in Cuba where he’s reportedly been living.

The masked lyricist also shares when fans can look forward to new music.

“I got a lot of good shit coming up this year,” DOOM says. “I know I’ve been off y’all’s scope for awhile because I’ve been in the cut. I’ve been healing and resting up and shit. Getting ready to fuck y’all up.”

The music playing in the background of the clip is reportedly the instrumental from an upcoming single called “Lively Hood” off the long-awaited Ghostface Killah collaborative project, DOOMSTARKS.
