Wiz Khalifa has confirmed that his forthcoming album, Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album, will be released in 2016.

“It’s coming out next year, not this year,” the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper said during a recent interview with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk on L.A.’s Power 106. “A lot of people think I’m gonna drop it this year but I’m not, I’m gonna drop it next year.”

However, Wiz, whose last album was 2014’s Blacc Hollywood, says that fans can expect “surprises” sometime soon, leading many to believe that his recently announced Cabin Fever 3 project will be a surprise release.
