During a newly-released interview with DJ Smallz Eyes, Chicago rapper Lil Bibby was asked to share the pet peeves he has as someone who’s active in the music industry.
According to Bibby, when he first began his music career there were several things he hated about the industry. Now he says he understands that at the end of the day, the business is based primarily off of entertainment.
“I’m getting used to it…When I was first beginning I hated a lot of stuff,” Lil Bibby said. “But I’m starting to get used to it. And I’m starting to just understand it and take it for what it is. So yeah, I understand it now. I see how it goes. It’s entertainment. It’s an entertainment business. So, I try not to get my hopes up or stuff like that, man. It’s entertainment. I just look at it as that.”

When asked to reveal his craziest studio story, Bibby revealed that it likely involved friend and fellow rapper, Kevin Gates.
“It gotta be with Kevin Gates,” he said. “That’s all I’mma say. It gotta be with Kevin Gates. That’s one of the funniest guys I know. I don’t even know if he be trying try to be funny. Cause he be looking like he’s dead serious. But man, that guy is just crazy to me. I like him though. That’s one of my favorite people. He just has me laughing all day.”
During his interview with DJ Smallz Eyes, Lil Bibby also shared his studio must-haves, and revealed that in his opinion, the key to success is positivity.
