Arizona’s Sincerely Collins has been making some noise in Hip Hop, particularly on the west coast as he’s been touring more heavily there during the last few months.

Recently sitting down with HipHopDX Features Editor Andre Grant, Collins talked about his recently released “Like Iverson” track.

“[I take] any opportunity to deliver lyricism in a different way,” he said via a segment of today’s (October 12) DX Daily. “The whole basketball thing, I grew up playing basketball and stuff I just had to do my take on it.”

Sincerely Collins refused to provide a release date for his forthcoming Child Rebel Soldier project but did explain why releasing music has changed a lot for him over the last few months.

“It’s like a blessing but at the same time it kind of hurts me because ‘Light Work’ had so much success right now so we’re going up and down the west coast,” he explained. “We just got into Corpus Christi and we’re doing New York runs and stuff just to get ‘Light Work’ in different markets and stuff so we really just have to ride the success of ‘Light Work,’ wait until that dies down and then decide when to put out the next album.”
