DJ Jazzy Jeff is set to appear at the “Stand for School Equality” rally in Brooklyn, New York tomorrow (October 7), according to a press release.

Hosted by “Families For Excellent Schools,” the event is set to take place at 9 am EST at Cadman Plaza and is seeking an end to what organizers say are New York City’s separate and unequal schools.

“Each and every child deserves access to a great education,” DJ Jazzy Jeff says in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. “I’m standing with FES on Wednesday to support the equality of all schools. By creating an education system where every child has the opportunities and tools they need to succeed we can help fully prepare the next generation of great leaders and creatives.”
