50 Cent appeared at a number of liquor stores in Washington, D.C. and Maryland Friday (October 2) promoting Effen vodka, of which he is a spokesperson.

The G-Unit rapper posted a video today (October 4) that shows a line of people waiting outside a liquor to meet him in which he also takes a shot at Puff Daddy, who owns a stake in Ciroc vodka, an Effen competitor.

“You know they don’t do that for Puffy,” 50 Cent says in a video he posted on his Instagram account.

50 Cent appeared at Camp Meade Liquors in Linthicum Heights, Maryland Friday. He was met there by local patron Ron Shirley of Linthicum, who wore a shirt with “No More Puffy Juice” on it, according to Capital Gazette.

“[Effen]’s better than Ciroc,” Shirley said. “I’ll tell you that.”

The store told the Capital Gazette that it sold 160 cases of Effen vodka in two hours. That is about 960 bottles, which retail for $30 each.
