Nate Dogg will be the subject of an episode of TV One’s Unsung program, according to The Futon Critic.
The episode focusing on the Long Beach, California singer is set to premiere November 18 at 8 p.m. EST.
Nate Dogg rose to prominence through his work at Death Row Records with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and others in the early 1990s. His “Regulate” collaboration with Warren G in 1994 appeared on the soundtrack from the Tupac film Above The Rim and became one of the singer’s landmark recordings.

In additional to releasing his own solo albums, Nate Dogg was also one of Rap’s go-to singers for hooks. He appeared on several major singles, including Kurupt’s “Behind The Walls” in 2000, Ludacris’ “Area Codes” in 2001 and Eminem’s “‘Till I Collapse” in 2002.
Nate Dogg passed away in 2011 due in part to complications he endured from strokes he suffered in 2007 and 2008.
Unsung has also featured episodes on The Geto Boys, Bone thugs-n-harmony and DJ Quik, among others.
