Dex Osama was shot and killed yesterday (September 7) outside of a strip club in his hometown of Detroit, WDIV reports. He was 21.
The rapper, whose given name was Byron Cox, was reportedly shot twice, once in the chest and once in the stomach. He ran to a nearby gas station where a man tried to help him.
Dex Osama was pronounced dead at the hospital.

There have not been any arrests in the case at press time.
Meek Mill, A$AP Mob member A$AP Addie and fellow Detroit rapper DeJ Loaf expressed their sadness about his death.
