Hip Hop has definitely put its input in when it comes to police brutality and the killing of unarmed black teenagers across America.
Recently a guest on The Combat Jack Show, J. Cole voiced his opinion when asked about police brutality in the United States. While he says that there are good people who join the police force, it’s the institutions rules that change good people into bad.
“Because the job ain’t good,” the North Carolina native said, “The machine, they all part of a machine that’s not good. They are agents of a machine. Are there good people in those roles? Absolutely. Great people, who really thought they were joining to make a difference and make a change, but now currently find themselves fucking up people’s days.”
