Charles Hamilton lists Murda Mook among his top five battle rappers and says that he is anticipating a possible matchup with Drake.
“I think the whole world is waiting for Drake and Murda Mook,” Hamilton says to VladTV. “That would be an interesting battle.”
Drake, a fan of battle rap, has said that he would face Murda Mook if he beat Tsu Surf.

“I can’t speak on either of ’em, but I can say if Drake goes back to his old style, songs like, ‘Get Over It,’ and stuff like that, then Mook might have a problem,” Hamilton says. “‘Cause Drake is like a lyricist, but Mook is a whole other animal. Don’t get me wrong, Murda Mook is a totally different animal. He’s built for battle rap. But Drake actually got bars. So it’ll be a good battle.”
The Harlem, New York rapper and producer names another battle that would be even bigger in his perspective.
“A battle I wanna see is Eminem vs. Crooked I,” he says, noting that Crooked I, who now goes by KXNG CROOKED, is one of his favorite rappers. “I know that battle will probably never happen. But Eminem vs. Crooked I is the battle to end all battles.”

Hamilton has his own experience in the battle rap scene, but is now just a fan.
“I started off as a battle rapper, but I’m not a crowd pleaser when it comes to giving off aggression,” Hamilton says. “I prefer to be more laid back.”
