With Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea no longer taking part in her “The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour,” it appears that the musician’s focus has now shifted to creating a new album.

While speaking directly to her fans through Twitter over the weekend, Iggy revealed that she has already completed six songs for the currently untitled album.

“Also album update for the fans: Im in the studio as i type this, things are going great & moving along. 6 songs completed on the album,” Iggy Azalea tweeted on August 8.

When asked by one Twitter user when she plans on releasing the album’s lead single, Iggy responded with “next year.” She also revealed that there won’t be more than 12 songs on the album.

One fan asked about the possibility of a deluxe version of her upcoming project. According to Iggy, there will be no deluxe version, but there could be a documentary incorporated somehow.

“@HausOfIggz i dont plan on doing a deluxe, just a standard. also there is a documentary being made about it to watch,” she tweeted.
