Dr. Dre released his Compton: A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre project yesterday (August 6), the first album the Compton, California rapper-producer has released since 1999’s 2001.
Several of Dr. Dre’s collaborators reacted to the collection’s release.
“THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER DR.DRE,” Kendrick Lamar wrote on Twitter yesterday (August 6). The TDE rapper appears on Compton cuts “Genocide,” “Darkside/Gone” and “Deep Water.”
Eminem, who appears on Compton selection “Medicine Man,” also tweeted about the album.
“Big day for music today,” the Detroit rapper wrote today (August 7). “@DrDre did it again with #Compton! More than honored to play my part: http://smarturl.it/Compton.”
