Shy Glizzy was arrested yesterday (July 27) in Silver Spring, Maryland, according to XXL.
The Washington, D.C. rapper was charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey lawful order, obstructing an officer, riot and resisting arrest. He reportedly posted bail and is now home.
“He good just dumb shit,” Glizzy’s manager says.

The arrest was captured via Instagram video from The Shade Room. One post shows the rapper being held down on top of a car by multiple police officers. Onlookers shout “Free Glizzy” and “Fuck 12” a slang term for the police. Another video shows the rapper being put into the back of a police car.
