As part of a series of free concerts, Atlanta, Georgia rapper Future has taken part in in the last week, the musician was scheduled to perform at Los Angeles, California’s The Roxy, yesterday (July 23).

reports that fans lined up as early as 9 A.M. at The Roxy, which only holds about 500 people, to secure their tickets to the concert. Due to the growing crowd, Los Angeles County sheriff deputies arrived at the venue in riot gear to control the situation.

Around 2 P.M., the street outside of The Roxy was closed and the concert was ultimately canceled. Despite the cancellation, Future announced via social media that The House Of Blues would serve as the new venue for his Los Angeles show.

In addition to his show in Los Angeles, Future also hosted free concerts in Atlanta, Georgia, Chicago, Illinois, and New York, New York.

The announcement of Future’s “Salute The Fans” shows came shortly after the release of the rapper’s third studio album, Dirty Sprite 2.
