Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift have publicly made up after a Twitter feud Tuesday (July 21).
“I thought I was being called out,” Swift writes in a post on the social media site today (July 23). “I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki.”
“That means so much Taylor, thank you,” Minaj responds.
The rapper then quoted a tweet from a fan who expressed happiness in the situation.
“I’ve always loved her,” Minaj says. “Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let’s move on.”
Earlier this week, Minaj expressed her disappointment on Twitter that “Anaconda” was not nominated for “Video of the Year” at the MTV Video Music Awards.
