Inspired by Eminem’s newly-released “Phenomenal” music video, MTV recently created a list of “35 Rap Songs That Should Be Turned Into Movies.”

“Recently, Eminem unveiled his ‘Phenomenal’ video, a thrilling one that plays like an action-packed movie. But rappers have been crafting films with their rhymes since the genre began. So, we pulled together some other songs that should become movies soon,” MTV writes.

Among the rap songs featured on MTV’s list are ones by Jay Z, The Notorious B.I.G., Common, Eminem, Nas, and Slick Rick.

With its consistently ominous tone, Biggie’s “Warning” is one of the songs featured on the list. In regards to the Ready To Die song, MTV writes: “Before ‘Story To Tell’ made us laugh, B.I.G. gave us this haunting film song. There’s a reason Frank White went by Rap Alfred Hitchock at times and ‘Warning’ is a great example of his creative-yet-menacing side.”

Kendrick Lamar’s “The Art Of Peer Pressure” serves as one of the more recent songs to make the cut. MTV suggests that the record could be turned into “a coming-of-age picture.”
